Many people are understandably concerned about coronavirus. The impact on the health of our communities is unprecedented and extraordinary. And with the rapid changes we’re all encountering daily, it’s hard to stay up-to-date with the evolving developments.
If you’re considering counselling with me, or you’re already a current client of mine, I want to let you know about the precautions I’m taking to ensure your good health while we work together.
Online counselling sessions
If you’d like to start counselling but are self-isolating, working from home, or limiting your movement outside, I’m offering online sessions as an alternative to meeting in one of my offices.
If you’re a current client of mine, all individual and couple counselling appointments will be conducted online from 23 March 2020 for the foreseeable future.
Zoom online meetings
Telehealth, which includes online counselling and telephone counselling, is an effective alternative to in-person counselling sessions.
I use Zoom for online meetings. If you’re unfamiliar with Zoom, it’s a secure online video conferencing platform that’s very easy to join and use.
If you would prefer not to meet on Zoom, I also offer telephone counselling.
Health and safety
I’m following the government recommendations to maintain social distancing and not shaking hands for the moment.
I also encourage you to maintain social distancing, engage in regular hand washing, and avoid touching your face.
You can also familiarise yourself with the latest COVID-19 resources from the Australian government.
The health of all my clients is paramount to me, so I hope you can appreciate I’ve taken these precautions to prioritise your health at this challenging time.
