Individual Counselling Services

Online therapy for individuals is an excellent option if you want to receive therapy from the convenience of your own private space, which may be your home or private office.

With the emergence of reliable online therapy programs, such as Zoom, it’s never been easier to access therapy services via a licensed mental health professional for mental health support with one click of your computer or smartphone.

Online Therapy for Individuals is as Effective as In-Person Sessions

The good news is that it’s just as effective as traditional therapy, and thousands of licensed therapists worldwide have confirmed this. Using my systematic approach with Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT), I can track your progress just as effectively online, ensuring our work together is making a meaningful difference regardless of whether we meet virtually or in person.

Some clients find online counselling more effective than face-to-face counselling because they feel less inhibited about opening up to the online therapist, and they appreciate the convenience of not having to travel to a therapist’s office.

Online sessions work seamlessly via secure video connection. You can join your session with just one click of a link on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, making it incredibly accessible and convenient.

Frequently Asked Questions About Online Therapy

I’m a registered clinical counsellor and psychotherapist who has worked with individuals and couples for over 20 years. Since 2020, the majority of my work with clients has been online. Many of my clients love the convenience and privacy of working online and get the same results as in-person sessions.

Your first online therapy session can be quickly and easily organised.

Here’s what you need to do to set up an online therapy session:

  1. Request an online counselling appointment at a time that suits you.
  2. I will call you to briefly discuss your situation and provide further details about the first session.
  3. After speaking, I will confirm your booking via my online appointment scheduler, and you will receive an email with the online meeting link.
  4. My receptionist will then send you the digital paperwork to be sent back before our first meeting. This paperwork can be quickly and easily completed online.
  5. At the conclusion of our first online therapy session, we will discuss your future needs for online therapy.

Today, there are many different online therapy platforms available to work with an online counsellor.

Due to modern advances in videoconferencing software like Zoom, online therapy is now an incredibly easy, efficient, and effective way to work with a therapist online.

My experience working with clients online is that we can create a dynamic synergy in our therapeutic relationship that comes from our interaction and connection. This can help you resolve your issues.

I’ve often found online therapy effective in working with various issues. Many clients have found my online therapy services even more effective than their prior in-person therapy or clinical psychology experiences.

I may encourage you to have a pen and paper to grab notes about anything important that comes up as we discuss your issues. Sometimes, I will give you homework and exercises to work on between our sessions.

If you’re unsure if online counselling is right for you, book a free 15-minute Zoom inquiry call with me so you can experience it before booking a session.

The Zoom video conference technology I use has encryption technology, which is the highest form of Internet security commonly available today.

Essentially, if someone could intercept a message, they would be unable to decipher it because it is sent in a complex code.

Zoom is the best online therapy platform for delivering a reliable and secure online therapy service.
