I came across this fascinating infographic recently that displays what scientists know about people in happy relationships.
Well, the good news is scientists know a lot!
No surprise that happy couples have five positive interactions for every negative one compared to couples that divorced who have just 0.8 positive interactions for every negative one.
One of the statistics that stood out to me because I’ve seen it many times with my clients, is that 67% of couples experience a drop in marital satisfaction immediately after the birth of the first child.
